Thomas Tuchel believes that Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are regaining their chemistry on the pitch.
Paris Saint-Germain recorded another victory in the Ligue 1 last night to strengthen their position atop the table. Goals from Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Mauro Icardi saw PSG beat Montpellier 3-1 at La Mosson.
Neymar and Mbappe, who cost around €400 million combined, have scored 18 goals between them this season for the French champions.
After the match, PSG manager Thomas Tuchel was full of praise for his star duo Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. The German highlighted Neymar and Mbappe’s struggle to play together this season. But Tuchel assured that the Brazilian and the Frenchman had been showing great chemistry between them lately.
“It’s not easy for them both,” Tuchel was quoted by Goal.
“They have both been away and are only now starting to really play together this season.
“It was hard for Kylian to play long minutes, while Neymar, who has more experience, responded very well in this difficult atmosphere. In the end, they made us win the match, right?”
“It was a great victory, a good game. It’s really hard to win here on a horrible pitch in a very hostile atmosphere.”
