Arsenal’s 2nd bid for Partey rejected.

Arsenal have faced a setback in their pursuit of Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey. In a cash plus player bid, they offered €25 million and out-of-sorts Matteo Guendouzi – which Atleti turned down.

The Rojiblancos are adamant about not accepting an amount less than his €50 million buyout clause. Arsenal, however, seem unwilling to match the 27-year-old’s release clause. [The Guardian]

Juve closing in on signing Milik.

Juventus have reached an agreement over personal terms with Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik. The two clubs now need to agree on a fee before the transfer takes place. Napoli have expressed interest in acquiring Federico Bernardeschi as a part of the deal. [Gianluca DI Marzio]

Chelsea open talks for Havertz.

Chelsea have officially contacted Bayer Leverkusen to discuss the potential transfer of Kai Havertz. The Blues have tabled an offer of €80 million including bonuses.

Everton ready to make move for Zaha.

Everton are preparing to launch an offer for Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha. Carlo Ancelotti is a huge admirer of the talented 27-year-old.
