Serbia coach Ljubisa Tumbakovic is unhappy with Real Madrid’s Luka Jovic insisting the player’s biggest problem is the player himself.

Luka Jovic has come in for a lot of stick following what can only be described as a failed time so far at Real Madrid.

His club manager Zinedine Zidane has been publicly sympathetic to the player’s predicament.

Although it is believed behind closed doors, the Frenchman has had enough and wants to get rid of the 22-year-old Serbian.

His national team coach has had some rather harsh words though for his player.

In an interview with Blic Sport, Tumbakovic is adamant the player has abandoned his national team.

Although while the door is always open he is the only one who can remedy the problem.

He said:

“I take care of each player to get the most out of Serbia’s national team. And I have never given up on any.”

“One of those who has moved away from the national team is Luka Jovic And the truth is only one.”

“There is no conflict between Luka Jovic and I.”

“Suddenly that player quit training, did not answer.”

“As a coach, I will always have a player of that class because It would not be professional for me not to think about him.”

“But it is he who has to convince us, the media, the fans, the people of the Federation and me as his coach, that he is prepared and responsible.”

“He has not taken any steps in that regard.”

The player is viewed as his own worst enemy.

He added:

“Luka Jovic’s problem is Luka Jovic.”

Jovic could be out of the Santiago Bernabeu sooner rather than later.
