Brazilian teenagers Rodrygo Goes and Vinicius Jr, as well as former Ballon d’Or winner Luka Modric wrapped up the 1-3 win from Real Madrid.
Real were already through to the last 16 all be it as group runners up behind PSG.
Club Brugge, on the other hand, needed to either get something out of this game or be dependant on help from PSG in the other game.
Real were not quick out of the block by any means, as they did not open the scoring until the 53rd minute.
A sublime volley from Rodrygo Goes saw Los Blancos take the lead.
However, the hosts fought back immediately. A curling shot from Hans Vanaken for the equalizer less than two minutes later.
But it was another of Real’s young Brazilians who restored the lead.
A 64th-minute scramble in the box saw Rodrygo clumsily backheel the ball in Vinicius’ path. The teenager made no mistake slotting the ball home for 1-2 to Madrid.
The third and final goal of the night was a Luka Modric special. The 2018 Ballon d’Or winner has been a peripheral figure this season for Real.
But in the 91st minute, he showed exactly what he was capable of.
The Croatian curled in a beauty from outside the box to leave Brugge keeper Simon MIgnolet without a chance.
