In an official statement on UEFA.com, the ball named “Uniforia” was unveiled to the world.
The Statement read:
“With Uniforia, while it is just a symbol, it is a symbol we all can – and should – unite behind.”
“What we saw in our cities – all our key cities – is the need to come together and unite for change.”
“When designing an official match ball, we always look to reflect culture.”
With all the issues regarding diversity and social acceptance, namely racism that has marred football of late.
The tournament is seen as an opportunity to display solidarity and unity among all those that simply love football.
