With 2020 just around the corner, we’ve built an ultimate XI comprising the very best players from the last decade.
We’ve had the privilege of witnessing one of the most historic decades in football, with plenty of players and clubs entering the record books for some unbelievable achievements.
The highlight obviously belongs to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for becoming the ruling forces. There was no stopping the pair as records and defences tumbled in their wake.

Real Madrid and Sevilla, on the other hand, won three European titles in a row. While Spain’s Golden Generation ended the nation’s trophy drought by winning a World Cup and Euro 2012.
So as the end of 2019 approaches, we will look at the ultimate XI using a 4-3-3 formation containing the very best players of this amazing decade.
