Arsenal boss Unai Emery has told reporters that despite being displeased with a 3-1 loss to Liverpool. There are positives to be taken from his sides display.
During an interview with BBC Sports, Unai Emery discussed both the negatives and positives in his Arsenal team’s performance;
“Really, I think we can be disappointed with the result. But really I think, we wanted to step ahead and improve on somethings that can be improved on in the future.”
“Today, in the first half I thought we were stupid defensively, but also we worked together and we were doing some transitions very good.”
“After 2-0, our reaction was good, because we needed also to attack, to take different moments in the match… Really, we’re disappointed we lost here. But, I think the team – above all – watching some players, we can be optimistic, we can progress.”
Emery ended on; “Positive things? One is Pepe, I think another is Maitland and Willock.”
