Unai Emery is working round the clock to strengthen Arsenal’s squad with reports linking Everton Soares to the Emirates outfit.
The Gremio star has seen his stock rise after emerging as the top scorer at the Copa America.
And according to Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte, Arsenal’s new technical director Edu has held talks with Everton’s agent Gilmar Veloz to assess whether a move to the Emirates is feasible this summer.

Interestingly, the connection with the former Brazilian coordinator is believed to be an edge for the Gunners as they aim to beat other suitors in Italy and Spain.
Everton, 23, has a £90million release clause with the deal set to last till December 2022.
But it is believed a fee within the region of £45m can secure the services of the winger.
Before Gremio’s game against Bahia on Wednesday, Everton went on to confirm he will be in attendance with an offer on the table from an unnamed club.
“I have a proposal, I cannot name the club,’ the winger told Radio Grenal.
“I do not guarantee that I’ll play against Bahia on Wednesday, we’ll see.”

Purchasing a winger is believed to be of priority for Emery this summer with Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha the other target linked to the Emirates.
Lille winger Nicolas Pepe is another name in the frame for Arsenal but there have been no concrete offers for the Ivorian.
