Unai Emery speaks about Arsenal’s transfer market plans

Unai Emery has only been able to welcome Gabriel Martinelli to the squad so far this summer but more moves could happen soon.

Unai Emery has been hoping for quite some time to welcome new faces at the club. The Gunners have been linked with a host of players for several weeks.

Owing to their transfer budget being that of a relegation-threatened Championship club, Emery hasn’t been able to sign players he feels would help the team next season. However, the former Seville and PSG coach is confident that the club will be able to make a few signings before the window closes.

As reported by Daily Star, Emery assured fans that they will get to see a very good team.

“I can say to our supporters we are going to make a very good team with the players there now and three or four players who can help us in a few days,” Emery said.

“Our target is to get three or four players who can really improve our squad now.

Reiss Nelson, Arsenal

Arsenal’s emerging star talks about his formative years

Arsenal's 19-year-old forward, Reiss Nelson is carving his way to the first team. He's looked at as the future of North London. The youngster wants...

“We are being very, very demanding and first speaking about the possibility to sign very expensive players.

“The first player in our list is our first target, if we cannot achieve that the second. We are thinking every time they’re going to improve our squad.”

Arseal have been linked with a move for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos but the Spaniard says that he wouldn’t want to state names for now.

“I don’t want to speak about the names. Dani Ceballos is a very good player.”

While he did get enough game time last season, the young Spaniard is unlikely to get much of a look in with Zinedine Zidane in charge. And with Emery desperate for some creativity in the middle of the park, Ceballos could offer a long-term solution.
