Manchester United beat Burnley on Saturday night, then signed their goalkeeping coach Craig Mawson on Monday.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made another addition to his backroom staff as he continued to build his dream team both on and off the field.
Manchester United played Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday night and ran out comfortable winners.
They then returned to Turf Moor on Monday and signed the clubs goalkeeping coach Craig Mawson.
In a statement from the club on the official website manutd.com, they confirmed the new appointment to the coaching staff.
The statement read:
“Craig Mawson has been appointed Manchester United’s new assistant first-team goalkeeping coach.”
While Mawson himself said:
“It is such an honor to join Manchester United and to work with the fantastic set-up already in place.”
“I am looking forward to working with Richard Hartis, the coaches, staff, and players.”
“This is an exciting time for the club and I am delighted to be part of that.”
All the signs point to the fact the Norwegian being around for a while yet.
