Scott McTominay has traveled to Malaga with his team-mates for their training and could be back in action soon enough.

McTominay has handed United a big boost after the 23-year-old was pictured in training earlier today, as per the Daily Mail.

It comes as a boost as he was expected to miss the training alongside Paul Pogba.

The session also featured an appearance from Nathan Bishop, the new goalkeeper who made the move from Southend during the winter window.

McTominay has been out of action since January and his return will bring added steel to United’s midfield.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be hoping the Scot can gain full fitness soon enough to be in contention for a starting berth.

United take on Chelsea next in the Premier League and McTominay couldn’t have come at a better time.
