Manchester United beat Norwich in the FA Cup quarter-final with a 118th-minute goal from Harry Maguire.
Manchester United was coming into the FA Cup clash, having scored ten and not conceded a goal in the competition so far.
Playing the bottom of the Premier League side Norwich, United were the clear favorites.
United dominated possession while Norwich appeared happy at first to just sick back and soak up pressure.
There was little in terms of chances, and the first shot on target did not come until the opening goal in the 51st minute.
It was on-loan striker Odion Ighalo who scored for the Red Devils. His acrobatic if not unspectacular effort meant he has now scored in every game he has started for the club.
Conceding seemed to help the home side, as they were forced to come out and challenge United. It was the Canaries first shot on target in the 75th minute that brought the equalizer.
It was a screamer from Cantwell that had Maguire failing to block and Romero in goal well beaten.
The home side seemed content in seeing the game out and pinching a win in extra time or even penalties, with shoot-out expert Tim Krul in their goal.
The plan went to pot though when Klose was given a straight red for his foul on Ighalo. The only consolation for Norwich was the foul was outside the box.
The game rolled on into extra time and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer went for it. He had already brought on Rashford and Greenwood, he added Martial to the mix. It meant United had four out and out strikers plus Pogba and Fernandes in the midfield pulling the strings.
They still appeared labored even though they pressed for a winner.
Norwich was resilient but were eventually undone by a goal from Harry Maguire just two minutes from a penalty shootout.
Heartbreak for Norwich, but the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s red and white army march on to the FA Cup semi-finals.
