Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood have outscored Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino so far this season.
Overall competitions Liverpool have in fact played one more game than United so far this season. Yet when the front line of each side is compared, the Red Devils goal scorers come out on top.
Salah, Mane, and Firmino have 37 goals between them.
While Rashford, Martial and Greenwood have 39.
Not only that, but their goals per minute ratio is superior too.
Rashford 122 minutes per goal, Martial 146 minutes per goal and Greenwood 124 minutes per goal.
Then for Liverpool, Salah 148 minutes per goal, Mane 164 minutes per goal and Firmino 203 minutes per goal.
While logically the explanation is that Liverpool is so far ahead because of goals from other players and far superior defense.
But the real question is with such a prolific strike force, how are United so far behind?
