Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk claims his side will not entertain any form of fear and intimidation when they face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League
Liverpool boast the joint-best defensive record in the Premier League and are in the right frame of mind to confront the French champions.
Van Dijk told the Mirror: “I don’t have any fear. We respect them as a team but the thing is we want to win the game.
“We are going to be totally up for it, motivated and we will make sure we are ready from the start.
“We don’t need to forget that we are one of the best teams in Europe as well.”
Liverpool remains the only team to have beaten PSG and Klopp’s men would be hoping to repeat that feat tomorrow night.
PSG are third but just two points separate all four teams. Van Dijk added: “We reached the final last year and we want to do at least the same this year. That’s our goal. So we are going to try. Try and beat them.”
