Tottenham hosted Sheffield United in yet another uninspiring performance by Pochettino’s men who can count themselves lucky to get away with a point.
The first half of the match saw both teams threaten the opposition goalkeepers.
However, after the match went into half-time with 0-0 a lot was expected from the second half.
Son opened the scoring, making use of Sheffield United’s defensive mistake.
David McGoldrick struck back just a few minutes – only to be denied by VAR. The decision was more than suspicious with milimetres deciding the outcome.
The guests, did, however, score once again – and this time it was allowed. Eric Dier slightly changed the path of Baldock’s cross to make it 1-1.
Pochettino tried everything to score, but Henderson held on to a big point for Sheffield United.
6 – Sheffield United are only the third newly-promoted side to avoid defeat in each of their opening six away games to a Premier League season, after Blackburn Rovers (first 8 in 1992-93) and Nottingham Forest (first six in 1994-95). Accreditation.
