Raphael Varane says Real Madrid are ready and confident ahead of a tough run of fixtures before the winter break.
With the winter break approaching for Spanish football, the mad dash is on to complete a hectic schedule of games.
Real Madrid will play four games in nine days.
The first being an away game to Club Brugge, in the Champions League.
Then three La Liga fixtures, two of which are on the road, and one is arguably the biggest away fixture of the season.
French World Cup winner and defensive stalwart Varane insists though that the tough schedule is inconsequential as he and his teammates are ready and confident.
In an interview reported by Sport, he said:
“We have a run of complicated games before Christmas.”
“But we are prepared, and we will be full of confidence.”
“We will keep looking to maintain our level of performance and end the year with a strong run of results.”
As things stand right now, the game at Barcelona could be a title decider, with both sides neck and neck at the top of the league on 34 points.
