Vardy’s injury is behind him, says Puel

Ahead of their clash with Champions Manchester City, Leicester manager Claude Puel has given an update on the condition of Jamie Vardy.

On boxing day, Leicester will host Manchester City at the King Power Stadium and Puel is happy to rely on the services of Vardy, declaring him injury-free and fit.

Vardy’s goal made the difference at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, as Leicester recorded a shock victory against Chelsea.

“Jamie showed it was behind him, this injury,” Pule told the club’s website.

“We managed to keep him fit with all his possibilities and his attributes. He can play in his best way and that’s the most important thing.
