Juventus have suffered their third defeat in top-flight Italian football this term, losing 2-1 to Hellas Verona.

Verona came from behind to shock Serie A leaders Juventus with a 2-1 win at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium.

The Bianconeri took the lead in the 65th minute through Cristiano Ronaldo, who became the first-ever Juventus player to score in 10 consecutive Serie A games.

Fabio Borini equalized for the visitors, while Leonardo Bonucci’s handball in the penalty area gave the hosts an opportunity to turn the score in their favor.

Giampaolo Pazzini converted the spot kick and secured Verona’s fourth win in 2020, as they remain unbeaten in the new year.
