Arturo Vidal believes Barcelona are well capable of beating any team and seems confident over his side’s chances against Napoli.
FC Barcelona were held to a 1-1 draw by Napoli in the away leg of the Champions League Last 16.
The second of the tie, which was initially postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic, is set to be contested on Saturday.
Barcelona lost out the La Liga tile to rivals Real Madrid in a disappointing fashion, and Champions League success could prove to be a season redeemer for them.
The result of the upcoming match could also play a role in deciding Quique Setien’s future at the club.
In an interview with Barcelona-based publication Mundo Deportivo, Arturo Vidal, who is suspended for Saturday’s clash, attempts to raise the morale of his team.
“I can see us lifting the Champions League trophy. We are Barça and so it is our duty to win this competition, and we have the team and the players to do it,”
“We have to respect Napoli, but we are capable of beating anybody on our day. We’ve to go and look for the game from the very first minute.
“We want to send out a message in this game to show Europe what we plan to do in the future.”
