All the action as Celta Vigo were able to take a deserved point away from the Santiago Bernabeu after drawing 2-2 with Real Madrid.

It didn’t look like it was Real Madrid’s night very early in the game. It felt like there might be a shock on the cards when Celta took a 1-0 lead in just the 7th minute of the game.

Former Liverpool man Iago Aspas played a defense-splitting ball to Fedor Smolov for the Russian to score his very first goal for Celta since arriving this winter on loan from Lokomotiv Moscow.

The visitors held their lead until the second half.

Seven minutes after the restart, Zinedine Zidane’s side finally made all their possession count for something.

A cut-back cross from the left-wing finds Toni Kroos about 16 yards out.

The German international made no mistake, accurately sweeping the ball into the back of the net.

The match saw the return of Eden Hazard who had been out for three months with an ankle injury.

It was the foul drawn by the Belgian international that enabled Sergio Ramos to step up and covert a penalty to give Los Blancos the lead.

It appeared that Zidane’s side had snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.

But Celta who find themselves battling relegation this season never gave up.

They got their just reward in the 85th minute.
