Kylian Mbappe appeared to push Neymar out of PSG’s team photo in a not-so-friendly manner after Saturday’s 2-1 Trophee des Champions win.

Neymar, who has been attempting force PSG into allowing him to re-join Barcelona this summer, was suspended for the clash against Rennes. Therefore, he watched the match in the stands and didn’t show much emotion either when Angel Di Maria scored the winner.

Following their triumph, Thomas Tuchel’s men gathered for a team photo in China. In the video below, Marco Verratti awkwardly drags a reluctant Neymar into it.

However, Mbappe then appears to push his wantaway team-mate out of the team photo in a seemingly angry manner.

No comments have been made yet by either Mbappe or Neymar on the matter. While it could just be a simple misunderstanding, it’s hard to tell for sure.

As for the match itself, Adrien Hunou gave PSG a scare early on by scoring a 13th-minute opener for Rennes.

Julien Stephan’s side held on to protect their first-half and seemed on course for a repeat of their famous Coupe de France final win over PSG.

But Mbappe, who saw red in that final, equalised at the Shenzhen Universiade Sports Centre after the break. Substitute Di Maria then scored a free-kick in the 73rd-minute to seal PSG a 2-1 win and a record seventh successive Super Cup.

Previously, Lyon had won the cup six times in a row between 2002 to 2007.

Despite Di Maria late heroics, however, Mbappe won the Man of the Match award for his efforts in China.

Now, the Parisians will head home to begin the defence of their Ligue 1 crown. Coming up for their opening game of the 2019/20 season will be Nimes at the Parc Des Princes next Sunday.
