Aston Villa boss Dean Smith has issued a “look but don’t touch” warning to any potential suitors for star player Jack Grealish.

Jack Grealish was a key figure in Aston Villa’s promotion back to the Premier League.

While he was on some of the Premier Leagues top side radar, there was concern if he could replicate his form at the highest level.

Grealish has proven his doubters wrong and altered all and sundry of his ability.

The boyhood Villa fan has emerged as a top target for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Manchester United.

In an interview reported by the Daily Mail, his manager Dean Smith has issued a hands-off warning to anyone interested in his star player.

He said:

“He’s a big target for many teams.”

“Our owners are very ambitious in establishing us as a top Premier League club; to do that you need to keep your best players.”

“People can keep looking but they can’t touch.”

“We want to keep our best players and he’s showing he’s one of the best in the Premier League.”

However, Grealish himself has not helped the speculation by admitting his dream of playing at Old Trafford.

He is quoted as saying:

“I’ve always wanted to play at Old Trafford.”

“That’s obviously my favorite ground in the Premier League.”
