Vinicius Jnr is not bothered about his goalscoring record for Madrid and believes the goals will come soon enough.
Vinicius is confident in his abilities at Madrid and is certain the goals will come in due time.
The youngster has shown glimpses here and there of brilliance with the finished product the only thing lacking.
This season, the 19-year-old only has one league goal and an assist to his name.
Howver, Vinicius is upbeat he can take solace from the likes of Sterling in the early stages of their career.
“I’m very calm and I know at some point the goals will come,” Vinicius explained in an interview with Esporte Interativo via Marca.
“I’m only 19 years old.
“[Raheem] Sterling, at my age, did the same thing.
“He didn’t score so many goals, but this year I think he already has 15 or 16.
“He improves with every season.”
Vinicius is still highly rated at Madrid and would be looking to be a first team player for his side in due time.
