With his recent two performances for Real Madrid and the Welshman’s bad fortune, Vinicius seems determined to take everything from Gareth Bale.

The recent two matches that Vinicius Junior has played for Real Madrid have revealed us something that is very hard to ignore, Gareth Bale’s role as the top player with Los Blancos is at stake.

The Brazilian youngster is determined to earn his position in the squad through hard work and dedication, but he also has that extra point of fortune that the Welshman always seemed to lack in regards to good health during the extent of a full season.

Regardless of how little time Vinicius Junior has played for Los Blancos, it’s already evident that he came to the most successful club in football history to leave his mark and there is nothing anyone can do to stop his attempt.

The very first step that Vinicius Junior took as soon as he arrived in the club last summer according to Diario AS, was to immediately ask about Gareth Bale’s number ’11’ jersey given that the Welsh player’s future was in the air during that time.

The club’s board of directors took the gesture politely and responded that such number was taken at the moment, Vinicius also asked for the number 20 but that was taken by Marco Asensio.

Since that moment, it was evident that the Brazilian’s goal was clear and he would do everything to achieve his objective.

Fortune seems to be smiling upon Vinicius Junior of late, as he has already established himself as the brand new arrival who may have what it takes to change Real Madrid’s negative dynamic and it may be in Gareth Bale’s detriment.

The Welshman did start the season strong, people started believing that this would be the year for him to finally establish himself as Cristiano Ronaldo’s successor.

But things quickly took a left turn for the worse and injuries made themselves visible as everybody feared, Gareth has been involved in physical problems regularly since he came to Real Madrid and only his stellar performances in key moments of the season have saved him from getting transferred to another club.

Los Blancos have historically never been patient with players who are injury prone, they have made a major exception with Bale due to his undisputed quality and capability to turn a game around with a goal or an assist.

Valverde says Barcelona has to be careful

The Blaugrana boss believes that danger is still around the corner for his team in the Spanish La Liga tournament, as there are ten matches left on the calendar.

While fortune didn’t really smile upon him during the first half of the season, it is during the second half when he tends to recover in the nick of time so he can help Real Madrid win titles.

But Real Madrid’s patience has a limit, it seems that it has peaked during this season.

Vinicius’ arrival is the answer to Los Blancos’ problems, as he has been directly involved in the club’s goals every 52 minutes since he started playing for the first squad. Gareth Bale, on the other hand, has direct participation in a goal every 115 minutes.

But Vinicius is not only surpassing Bale in productivity, as he also does the same against Benzema’s participation in a goal every 127 minutes, and easily surpasses Marco Asensio’s participation in a goal every 184 minutes.

There is absolutely no player in Real Madrid who does damage in so little time, Vinicius is the man for the squad right now and Santiago Solari has already taken notice.

While Gareth Bale is still injured and has a couple more weeks to recover, the debate will be served when the Welshman recovers because the manager will have to make a decision between the two most important players of the squad this season.

If Gareth Bale doesn’t giddy up and seeks treatment that can prevent him from getting injured so regularly, Vinicius Junior will most likely take that number ’11’ from him and effectively become one of the youngest franchise players in Real Madrid’s rich history.
