The Argentinean footballer believes things are perfect in the domestic league, but he thinks PSG should step up in order to qualify to the next round in the UCL

In the French Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain has won their 11 matches played in the 2018-2019 season.

But in the UEFA Champions League, the team risks not getting past the group round if they don’t win against Napoli.

This is why Argentinean forward Angel Di Maria believes his team has suffered a lot in the European tournament.

“Of course, we have suffered in the Champions League, but we are not the only ones,” he told Goal.

“The draw put us in a group with two superior teams, Liverpool and Naples, who are very strong at home.”

“We still have three important matches in the Champions League, which will be decisive,” he added.

“We have a good team, a great coach. If we play at 100% and we have a collective spirit, we can qualify for the last eight.”

“I have loved the last three years in Paris, where I have everything I need to play my best football,” he commented.

“Every day, I feel honored and motivated to be a part of such an ambitious project – unique in Europe.”
