Villa desperate to hold on to Grealish.

Aston Villa is willing to go all out offering Jack Grealish a huge pay raise to stay at Villa Park.

The club captain will be given the opportunity to pen to t paper on a new contract earning him £100,000 a week. It is hoped that such a commitment would see the player reject the lure of Manchester United. (Sun)

Mourinho wants a swap deal.

Jose Mourinho has deemed Kyle Walker-Peters surplus to requirements at Spurs.

The Portuguese is trying to wheel and deal to get the players he wants. This includes a swap deal for Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

This would see Walker-Peters go to Saint Mary’s. (Telegraph)

Ivanovic admits to Ancelotti link.

Branislav Ivanovic has been linked with a return to the Premier League after another trophy-winning season with Zenit St. Petersburg.

It now seems his most likely destination is a reunion with Carlo Ancelotti at Everton.

The player admitted he will “probably” reunite with his old boss at Goodison Park.  (Sun)

Leicester in talks with Barcelona.

Leicester City has apparently open discussions with Barcelona about the possibility of signing forward Franciso Trincao.

The Foxes would like to take the player on an initial two-year loan. However, they would commit to buying the 20-year-old at the end of the agreement for around €50m. (Guardian)

Everton will not be going to Everton.

It appears that Benfica have beaten Everton to the signing of Everton.

Brazilian forward Everton had been linked with a move to the Premier League side bearing the same name.

However, it appears that Portuguese giants Benfica have crept in and pinched the Gremio player from under the Goodison Park club’s noses. (Goal)
