The battle for Dean Henderson’s signature is hotting up.

23-year-old goalkeeper Dean Henderson is contracted to Manchester United.

The Red Devils want to tie him down to a new deal, Chelsea wants to pinch him from United, while Sheffield United would love to keep him for another year at least.

That doesn’t mean there are not others interested in him too.

Chelsea is prepared to offer English keeper Dean Henderson £170,000 according to the Manchester Evening News.

Chelsea eye Ter Stegen – Kepa swap deal.

Should a deal for Dean Henderson fail to materialize and the price tag for Jan Oblak proves too much even for Roman Abramovich, then Chelsea will turn to Barcelona.

Frank Lampard will then try to sign Barcelona and Germany keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen. He is prepared to offer Spain international Kepa Arrizabalaga, 25, as part of any deal. (Mundo Deportivo, via Mail) 

Leeds has a genuine interest in Cavani.

Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani admits he is feeling the waters with an eye to bringing Edinson Cavani to the club.

Bruce’s future still unsure at Newcastle.

The Newcastle United takeover saga rumbles on as the Premier League is still yet to confirm the viability of any current offer on the table.

It now appears that another party has entered the mix. While it could potentially be exciting times for the Magpies, it has left Steve Bruce in an uncetain positon.

Henry Mauriss, the latest rival bidder to the Saudi Arabia-led consortium trying to buy the club has hinted Bruce could stay while the Saudi’s want a big name to come in. (Telegraph – subscription required)

Is Areola heading to the Premier League?

Paris St-Germain goalkeeper Alphonse Areola who is currently on loan at Real Madrid could be on his way to an English club.

His loan deal is set to expire and rumor has it the player and his family have already purchased a home in London. (Marca)
