The former Arsenal coach says there are a lot of sacrifices when one wants to become the new boss of a team

Ex-Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger knows Thierry Henry wants to become a manager.

After all, the two of them were together from 1999 to 2007 at the Gunners squad.

And now the French ex-footballer wants to be a football boss.

“Yes, he wants to do it [become a manager], he is intelligent and he has the qualities,” he told Corse Matin on ESPN.

“The existential question that we always ask ourselves is whether we are ready to sacrifice our life for the coaching profession.”

“Being passionate is selfish work. When you are passionate, you steal your time from those whom you love and to whom you could have given much more,” he explained.
