Spanish football expert, Guillem Balague claims that West Ham are on the verge of signing Pablo Fornals soon.
Pablo Fornals has been hotly linked with a move away from Villarreal with reports claiming that the young midfielder’s announcement will be made soon.
The Hammers had been looking at Pablo Fornals for a long time. Should the move go ahead, it would represent a major coup for the residents of London Stadium.
And Balague, while speaking to Sky Sports, admitted that the English outfit is likely to announce the deal soon.
“On Fornals (who might be confirmed as a new West Ham player soon, around £24m). Brilliant signing, 23yo. In the mould of a FCB [Barcelona] midfielder, genius in the pass, drives the ball with quality. Big gaps in concentration without ball but can be added to his game. Winning mentality,” said Balague via his personal Twitter account on Wednesday.
However, this might not be the only move West Ham make in the near future. Benfica right back, Andrea Almeida is also a reported target. The Portuguese has been almost eternally linked with a move to Leicester City. But it appears that the Foxes may have to compete with their English counterparts for this signing.
Leicester on the other hand, may end up losing full back Ricardo Pereira. The Portugal international has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain and the move might even happen.
West Ham’s recruitment drive may not end here either. The Hammers are also linked with a move for Ozan Kabak. The youngster is currently playing in the Bundesliga with VfB Stuttgart. The Turkish international could prove to be a valuable addition to the team for years to come.
Following a decent finish the last campaign, West Ham are keen to start the next season on a strong note and such signings would really help the club in the long run.
