Was that the save of the season by Bournemouth defender Steve Cook, who pulled off an amazing save that saw him red-carded for his efforts?

It was the 32nd minute of the Premier League game between Norwich City and Bournemouth.

Norwich keeper Aaron Ramsdale, came scurrying out of his goal to pressure Norwich’s Pukki.

The Finnish international played the ball to Ondrej Duda who curled a wicked effort goal bound.

Cook had a fraction of a second to react as he found himself about eight yards off the goal line.

He lept with perfect goalkeeping techniques. Arm overarm and leg over leg reaching full stretch to make the magnificent save.

There was, however, a problem. His blatant and deliberate handball, denying a clear goal-scoring opportunity saw him given a red card.

It appears some of the Premier Leagues best shot-stoppers may have some new competition on their hands.
