The race is on to become the next boss of Juventus, but who are the bookies backing for the job?
Juventus have sacked Maurizio Sarri. Apparently a Serie A title, Coppa Italia final appearance, and Champions League Round of 16 progress was not enough.
Aside from the apparent lack of success, there were many questions being asked of the former Chelsea boss’ tactics and relationship with the team’s stars, especially Cristiano Ronaldo.
The big question now is who will take the hot seat at the Allianz Stadium?
According to Odds Checker former Tottenham manager, Mauricio Pochettino is top of the wanted list. The odds for his appointment are as short as 5 to 4. But Current Lazio boss and club legend Simone Inzaghi is a close second favorite at 5 to 2.
Two of the front-runners last summer are still available at reasonable odds, with Pep Guardiola and Zinedine Zidane coming in at 14 to 1.
The long shot, which may be worth a punt, especially if the Bianconeri has their eye on a particular candidate who is not available immediately, is 88 to 1 shot Laurent Blanc.
The safe money seems to be on Poch, with most of the bookies backing him to be in Turin soon!
Looks like its time for Mauricio Pochettino to end that holiday and get back to business.
The Argentine tactician recently admitted he is ready and waiting to get back in the hot seat.
