Brandon Williams traveled with the Manchester United squad to Germany but is not letting his promotion to the first-team get to his head.
Manchester United takes on the challenge of FC Copenhagen in the Europa League. One youngster who might take to the field for the Red Devils is Brandon Williams.
The Red Devils youth academy graduate has been thrust into the deep end and has risen to the occasion. Williams has made 34 competitive outings since making his debut at the start of the 2019/20 season.
The teenager understands how lady luck has smiled on him but is keeping his head to the ground. Williams knows he can drop to the reserves and vows to keep on working hard in training.
“I think it has been a crazy season for myself and my family, to be honest,” Williams said to ManUtd.com.
“Obviously I started with the Reserves and now I am playing with the first team, and I just want to carry it on and play as many games as possible.”
“I think it is not a case of that because at any time I can drop down into the Under-23s, or I can pick up an injury or anything.”
“So I just focus on what I am doing. I want to keep working hard, keep working on what I need to improve on and try to play as many games as I can.”
