Willian’s agent has refuted claims that the Brazilian has decided his Chelsea future, saying a final decision will be made once the season is finished.
Willian has made it no secret that he would stay at Chelsea next season if they offered him a three-year extension to his contract, which expires at the end of August.
The Brazilian has already put pen-to-paper on a month-extension to see out the rest of the season, with Chelsea still to play FA Cup and Champions League fixtures.
But the Blues’ reluctance to offer him anything above two years has thrown his future into doubt.
London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are reportedly interested in the 31-year-old’s services.
Although Sky Sports reported on Monday that Chelsea made a breakthrough in talks with Willian, implying they were set to keep him for next season.
But now the winger’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, insists no decision will be made until Chelsea’s season has ended.
Joorabchian, who is a renowned Arsenal supporter, also revealed Willian has five offers on the table from MLS, Premier League, and European clubs.
“I don’t think he’s done a U-turn or any kind of turn,” said Joorabchian told talkSPORT.
“He’s always been very much the same mode.
“We had two very big offers – one from MLS which required him to move on July 1 – but he’s always been in the same mode, saying, ‘I want to finish the season at Chelsea and the day after the season has finished I will make my decision’.
“He has two concrete offers from Premier League clubs on the table, he has an MLS offer on the table which is very big, and he’s got two other offers in Europe.”
“So Willian is in a very good position and he is going to make his decision after the last game of the season.”
Barcelona, Manchester United and David Beckham’s Inter Miami are also allegedly keen on Willian.
