Liverpool are out of the Emirates FA Cup thanks to a 2-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux on Monday night.

Jurgen Klopp handed debuts to Rafael Camacho and Curtis Jones while 16-year-old Ki-Jana Hoever came on for the injured Dejan Lovren after just five minutes.

Raul Jimenez opened the scoring for Wolves in the 38th minute after a sloppy mistake by James Milner.

With Liverpool’s only shot on target in the game, Divock Origi pulled level six minutes into the second half.

However, Nuno’s side was very much in control of the game and went ahead again five minutes thanks to a spectacular 30-yard strike by Ruben Neves.

Liverpool now record successive 2-1 defeats after their Premier League loss at Manchester City on Thursday and were also knocked out of the League cup by a 2-1 home defeat to Chelsea last year.

In an FA Cup fourth-round draw after the match, Wolves will play against either Shrewsbury or Stoke.
