IT consultants, Silverbugs have been associated with Wolves for 18 years as they were their main shirt sponsor for the 2015/16 season.
With online gaming firm W88 named new first-team shirt sponsor for Wolves’ return to the Premier League, an alternative sponsor was sought for junior shirts – and managing director Laurie Dalrymple was thrilled to secure the deal with Silverbug, according to Express and Star.
“We are absolutely delighted to broaden an already long-term and fruitful partnership with Silverbug,” he said. “For almost two decades Silverbug have provided an exceptional service to Wolves, and have been involved in some of our largest projects, including the development of the new Stan Cullis Stand and the revamp of the Sir Jack Hayward Training Ground.
“In addition, Silverbug managing director Owen Daley is currently leading on a huge IT infrastructure project this summer as we get Molineux ready for Premier League football; and has actually based himself at the stadium, such is his dedication to the club.
“As they did during their tenure as first-team sponsor, they are once again allowing us to change their logo to black for aesthetic reasons, which we are truly grateful of.
“Wolves and Silverbug share the same core values and we consider them part of the Wolves family – I couldn’t think of a better company to partner with as junior shirt sponsor for such an exciting season.”
