Wolves have agreed a 26 million pound deal for Franck Kessie.
According to Football Italia, the two clubs have finally reached an agreement.
Apparently, the Rossoneri accepted the offer of 25 million Euros plus three million in add-ons.
It will now be a push to complete the formality of personal terms and a medical.
The Ivory Coast international is currently on 2.5 million Euro a year contact at Milan. He is believed to be asking for a pay raise, earning 4 million Euros a year to swap the San Siro for Molineux.
While this is quite a jump, the West Midlands club is hopeful of reaching an agreement closer to the 3 million Euro a year mark.
22- year-old Kessie, has represented Milan 42 times and scored 7 goals.
He has also made 27 senior appearances for the ivory coast national team.
He joined Milan back in 2017, as part of a two-year loan deal, this cost Milan eight million Euros. However, the deal also had an obligation to buy at a pre-agreed fee of a further 24 million Euros this summer.
Milan has made several acquisitions already this summer.
With the Italian window running until September 2nd, they may feel that recouping Kessie’s fee now from the English club, is their best option.
They can still spend the funds on a player at some point over the next three weeks. As they try to decide on a suitable replacement.
Wolves have already done business with Milan this transfer window. They signed Patrick Cutrone for €18m plus €5m in add-ons.
