Benfica on-loan striker Raul Jimenez has been vital to Wolves’ impressive start to life back in the Premier League and the club has been urged to complete his signing.
Nuno Espirito Santo told Birmingham Mail on Saturday:
“This is what he’s (Jimenez has) been doing since the beginning of the season. He has high standards and works hard. Sometimes he scores and sometimes he doesn’t score.”
“The shape has changed a little bit so it requires different tasks from the two players who play up front, and he does those things.”
Jimenez recently added:
“Here in Wolverhampton I had the opportunity to play more minutes, to have more activity, I think I’m in a great moment of my career.”
“It was what I had been looking for, this continuity, and now that I have it I am taking advantage of the opportunity, giving 100 percent of me in every training, in every match, so as not to lose the confidence that the coaches give me and the whole team.”
