The idea of a management team at Barcelona of Xavi and Andres Iniesta sounds like a good idea to the latter.
A popular concept is that Xavi who currently coaches in Qatar will eventually become the boss at the Camp Nou.
This idea is supported by his former Barcelona teammate Andres Iniesta.
While Xavi has hung up his boots, Iniesta is still playing and has no intention of retiring just yet.
Although when he does, the idea of entering management is something he is considering, and the idea of doing so alongside his old teammate is rather appealing.
In an interview with Radio Marca, the Vissel Kobe player is backing Xavi to take over at Barca one day.
“I would like Xavi to coach Barca at any time, but you have to consider how he feels or what he has planned. “
“I think Xavi will be back at Barca sooner or later, but I don’t know when.”
Iniesta wouldn’t mind continuing in football in a new capacity one day, but he has no specific plans.
“I haven’t said that I would like to train a certain team, but as time passes the idea of becoming a coach is becoming more appealing.”
But the suggestion of him teaming up with his friend and former teammate does excite him.
“A partnership of Xavi and Iniesta doesn’t sound bad at all.”
They were the greatest partnership on the field, could they be the greatest off of it too?
