After revoking him of his captaincy, Emery looks like he’s ready to get rid of Granit Xhaka on a permanent basis in the winter.
Granit Xhaka lost the plot recently after an outburst where he told the fans to “f*** off” as he was booed off the pitch.

The apology didn’t help him either, with the now-former captain telling his side of the story rather than genuinely apologizing.
Even after getting his captain armband stripped, Xhaka could see things slide further down the hill.
Emery gave some hints of Xhaka leaving the club in the latest press conference. When asked about Xhaka potentially leaving, Emery replied:
“We need to take some decisions… My focus is for tomorrow,” as quoted by Mirror.
“He is our player, we want to respect him.”
“We’re speaking a lot about that. It’s clear. There’s no more words about that.”
This would be a huge fall from grace for the Swiss international and an infamous end to his time with the Gunners.
