After a fallout with Arsenal fans, Xhaka found himself on the exit doors with one suitor standing out in the pursuit of the midfielder.

January is approaching, and Xhaka is more likely to leave Arsenal with each passing day.

After losing the captain’s armband, Xhaka lost his place in the squad.

A January move is on the cards, and Newcastle looks like the destination.

Steve Bruce gave a hint in his recent interview, asking for more midfielders.

“We have six centre-backs and three right-backs but are a bit short in midfield areas, so we’ll have a little look at that,” Bruce said, as quoted by The Guardian.

“You are always looking to add that bit of quality, so we’ll see if we can.”

The rumored fee is around €40 million, according to Football London.
