You try to give the maximum every time: Hugo Lloris

The Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper believes today’s match against Ajax will be another epic chapter in UEFA Champions League history.

After losing 1-0 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Semifinal, Tottenham Hotspur only has one option: to win today at Johan Cruyff Arena in the Netherlands.

And according to Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, his team has to give the maximum every time they play.

“I’m very proud to be part of this team involved in the semi-final of Champions League,” he told the club’s official website.

“All players want to play this type of game and play every season in Champions League.”

“This is the main target of the club and when you are involved, you try to compete and give the maximum every time you get the opportunity,” the goalkeeper continued.

Van Dijk is hungry for more

The Liverpool footballer was one of the key players that helped the Reds lift the UEFA Champions League trophy against Tottenham Hotspur.

“We don’t want to stop at this level, we want to believe in our chances and just think about the next game.”

“We are focussed to give our best, to finish on our knees to give the maximum and not to have regrets. It’s important to keep the belief because everything is possible,” he added.

“Ajax have a little advantage from the first leg, we have to deal with that and the only way to go through is to win. That’s how we will prepare for the game.”
