Youngster Morgan Rogers is delighted at City

17-year-old midfielder Morgan Rogers has loved every minute playing for Manchester City after he debuted against Brighton and Hove Albion last season.

Last season, when he was just 16 years old, midfielder Morgan Rogers debuted with Manchester City in the English Premier League.

The game was part of the FA Cup as the Citizens defeated Brighton and Hove Albion.

And now, a year later, the player is feeling awesome at City.

“I’m settling in well,” he told the club’s official website.

“I’ve played with a couple of the boys before with England and they’ve integrated me into the group well, but all the boys have been great, so it’s made it easier.”

“I’m learning a new style of play and I’m enjoying every moment of it,” he added.

“I’m living in Manchester too, so that’s a good experience. I like it. Manchester’s a good city!”

Xherdan Shaqiri feeling ‘downbeat’ on Liverpool struggles

Xherdan Shaqiri admits his struggles for regular game time at Liverpool this season haven't been easy for him to deal with.

“He’s a nice kid,” added the Elite Development Squad boss Paul Harsley.”

“He gets a lot of care from the Club and obviously as coaches, we try and make him as welcome as possible, but we’re letting him find his own feet and he’s coming out of himself more around the lads,” he continued.

“He’s already played quite a lot of football. He’s growing into his body still, but at times you see flashes of real quality.”

“We’ll keep working with him and I’m sure the best is yet to come,” Rogers concluded.
