The player has been linked to a move to Internazionale Milan or Napoli, but he dreams of lifting a trophy with Atalanta.

Colombian striker Duvan Zapata started playing professionally in 2008 with America de Cali.

He moved to Estudiantes in 2011, before jumping to Europe in 2013 to Napoli.

After playing with Udinese and Sampdoria, he landed in 2018 in Atalanta, and he wishes to stay.

“I am dreaming of lifting a trophy with Atalanta,” he was quoted by Football Italia.

“I’m thinking about La Dea and I want to stay here.”

“I’m very happy and we achieved a historic target with Champions League qualification,” he added.

“After such hard work, we can enjoy that happiness.”

He explained: “With Josip Ilicic and Papu Gomez, we are complete, among the top trident attacks out there.”

“Anfield, the Bernabeu, and Camp Nou are all special stadiums to play in, but we’ll fight it out wherever the draw takes us, regardless of the opponent.”
