Walter Zenga was impressed by his side’s massive 4-1 win over Sassuolo which helped them to get away from the drop zone and the coach believes that they will be able to avoid the relegation.
Crotone managed to win their last crucial game and they are in a good position ahead of the final stage of the season – and Zenga insisted that it is the nature of the team to fight until the very end of the season.
The Crotone coach spoke about his side’s survival chances as he said, according to Football Italia:
“It was a game we had to play and I think the three points were fully deserved.”
“I thank the lads for this great performance. It was a nice birthday present. I’m still young – I don’t have any grey hairs on my head!”
“We are above all in good shape in terms of concentration and focus. This club and city are accustomed to fighting right to the end and we’ll need that determination again.”
“We keep going on training retreats because we like being together and work well, so we know how important this is.”
