Real Madrid and Leganes tied 1-1 on Monday in the Spanish La Liga tournament, but the Frenchman was not happy about it.
Leganes hosted Real Madrid on Monday, and the two teams ended up drawing 1-1 in the Spanish La Liga tournament.
And after the match, coach Zinedine Zidane was not happy about the result.
“I didn’t like the first half [performance],” he was quoted by Sport.
“In the second half we were much better and in the end, we got the draw.”
“I don’t have anything else to say. We can do much better, for sure. The sensations aren’t good, but they’re not bad, either, because we drew in the end. [Leganes] don’t give much away, especially at home,” he continued.
“We know we don’t have anything to play for this season. We’ve been training well for eight or nine days, but we didn’t play a great game. We’ve got six matches left and we will try to do better in the next one. I’m going to say the same until the end.”
“I had to speak in the dressing room, but in the end, they’re the ones who are on the pitch. We did better. We were too slow in the first half and it was impossible to created danger. After the break, the ball circulation improved,” he added.
“I am sure we will improve this season — and in this one, we’re going to try and stop going behind in games.”
