Zinedine Zidane has claimed that he was not wrong for commenting on Mbappe.

Monaco’s president revealed that the French star wanted to establish himself in his homeland before moving to Real Madrid. He also admitted that Mbappe will eventually join Zidane’s team in the near future.

Zinedine Zidane, in a similar vein, acknowledged Mbappe’s dream of playing for Los Blancos. The Frenchman’s comments irritated PSG’s sporting director. Leonardo claimed that it was unprofessional of Zidane to try to lure the World Cup winner.

But Zidane recently announced that he stands by his comments. The Real Madrid manager believes he pronounced nothing wrong and everything he said was already known. Zizou even went to say that he would repeat what he said earlier about Mbappe.

“I’ve said nothing, just what the player said, that his dream was one day to play here,” he told reporters.

“Everyone does what they want. I’ll not say anything else. I simply said what the player said one day, that his dream would be to wear the Real Madrid jersey,” Zidane told as reported by OneFootball.

“I say it again and I would say it every day, I have nothing more to say about Leonardo, I can say whatever I want.”
