Despite rumours of a likely exit, Zinedine Zidane believes embattled winger Gareth Bale can deliver for Real Madrid.
The French manager returned earlier this week to replace Santiago Solari, after a turbulent spell for the Los Blancos.
Life under Solari for the Welshman was quite complicated considering how he struggled to make his starting XI.
However, Zidane’s return further heightened the pressure of a likely departure of the former Spurs winger considering rumours of a tense relationship in his first spell at the club.
But ahead of Zizou’s first match back at the helm, against Celta Vigo at the Bernabeu, the French manager suggested it’s a fresh start for everyone.
“I’m not going to talk about Bale’s season, what I’m going to talk about is what we have ahead: 11 games,” Zidane said via SkySports.
“You know what kind of player Gareth is so I’m going to count on him, as well as with the others.

He went further to praise the entire team hinting they are mentally ready to prosecute the Celta Vigo clash.
“The good thing here is that they’re all good players, and what’s important is for them all to be ready.
“We are ready and Gareth is ready for tomorrow and whatever tomorrow’s game takes.”
