This is a perfect time to talk about the two real destinations that Zinedine Zidane could most likely take after he ends his sabbatical this season.

We are getting closer to a full year of Zinedine Zidane not gracing us with his presence on the bench of any club, the man really did leave a mark on his very first experience as a manager and we are counting the days until next summer arrives so we can know what the French genius is doing next.

The possibilities are many for the man, he really did touch the sky at Real Madrid, he reached excellence at a very early moment in his career and the offers he has been getting are all spectacular with many perks.

There was a very specific destination for Zinedine Zidane at the start of the season, Manchester United was very keen on landing the French manager for a project they wanted to begin after Jose Mourinho left the club but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer came to the Red Devils and he has practically earned the permanent job through spectacular results.

Zidane is better off not going to the Red Devils anyway, the Frenchman prefers going to a club that he completely understands and preferably somewhere he has already played before when he was still a footballer.

This philosophy will count for him at least until he gains more experience as a coach, he will surely start branching out to uncharted territory when he feels more comfortable in the future.

Another interesting option for ‘Zizou’ is Chelsea FC, but the French manager has several issues with this opportunity.

For starters, the sacking culture that owner Roman Abramovich has developed since he arrived in the club is very discouraging for the French manager because he doesn’t want to remain at a club where he doesn’t have enough time to work and develop his ideas.

Another reason why the Chelsea option is not viable for Zidane is the most recent news of FIFA’s transfer ban on the Blues for the next two transfer windows, this would obviously limit any type of plans that the manager could develop with the objective of building a title contender for all the competitions that Chelsea would play under his tutelage.

The options in the Premier League suddenly feel a lot more limited than they were a few months ago, because the other major squads in the country already have occupied seats and they don’t seem keen on sacking their managers anytime soon.

Pochettino’s cousin tells it all about a possible move in Italy

According to Daniele Pochettino, the chance that his cousin Mauricio Pochettino leaves Tottenham Hotspur and joins Juventus is big.

Zinedine Zidane has kept his word of not signing a contract with any other club for the following year after leaving Real Madrid, but that year will end during the summer and the Frenchman is already locked down on one specific club.

Inside the transfer gossip that has been rolling around in several news outlets, ESPN picked up a recent story about Zinedine Zidane being the obvious choice for the Juventus seat after this season.

Manager Massimiliano Allegri has won several trophies with the club but he has been denied of the Champions League throughout his whole spell at the club, getting eliminated by Atletico Madrid next week could be a devastating blow to his future inside the club.

This leaves the club’s manager’s seat completely free and Zinedine Zidane is the natural option to occupy it, the man is a well-known Juventus legend and he knows the club intimately enough to think that he can help them compete for all the titles if he became the manager.

A major plus would be having Cristiano Ronaldo inside the club, a player with whom he won three consecutive Champions League trophies at Real Madrid and have an excellent relationship.

Zidane’s target is Juventus as his first choice, there is no doubt about that and the most likely scenario is that he will manage the Vecchia Signora sooner rather than later.
