Chelsea’s new signing Hakim Ziyech has been named Ajax Player of the Year for the third time in a row.

Hakim Ziyech has once again been awarded for yet another brilliant individual season with Ajax.

The Morocco international contributed to Ajax’s charge with nine goals and 18 assists across all competitions, before the Dutch season was voided.

In his four-year spell at the club, Ziyech has now won the award thrice. The 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons.

The trickery midfielder posed with all three of his awards in a post made by the official Ajax Twitter account.

Overall, the 27-year-old has been involved in 49 goals and 71 assists in the last four seasons at the Johan Cruyff Arena.

Despite another brilliant season with Ajax, Ziyech recently spoke of his disappointment at how his time in the Dutch League came to an end.

That being said, all directions are now pointing to the next phase of his career, with Chelsea in England.

Many have claimed Ziyech would make an instant Lampard in the Blues lineup and would see their attacking options greatly strengthened.
