Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana would be a good option for Chelsea as new signing Hakim Ziyech also wants his former teammate at the club.
Andre Onana will fit in well at Chelsea and Hakim Ziyech is keen on seeing the goalkeeper follow suit in making a move to London this summer.
Ziyech signed for the Blues in the winter window and will officially join in the summer to bolster Chelsea’s attacking options.
Another area which desperately needs reinforcements is the Blue’s goalkeeping department.
Chelsea have struggled all season with Kepa Arrizabalaga dropped by coach Frank Lampard earlier this year.
The world’s most expensive keeper had a series of bad performances and is also among the goalkeeper’s with the lowest save percentages in the league at 56%.
Ajax’s Andre Onana has been linked as a credible option for the Blues as reports suggest the 26-year-old is interested in making a move to the Premier League.
And according to Goal, new Chelsea signing Hakim Ziyech is close friends with Onana and will try and convince the goalkeeper to join in the summer.
It won’t be that straightforward though as the Blues will have to battle the likes of Barcelona and Tottenham who are also heavily linked to the Ajax goalkeeper.
Over the years, Onana has made a fine reputation for himself after some impressive performances in the Champions League and continues to be a vital player in the Ajax starting lineup.
